Client Manager - Financial Services

The Role
Cafico International is at an exciting stage of its development and is seeking a Client Manager to work for our leading corporate services company in either the Ennis or Dublin office.

 As a Client Manager you will offer a high standard of financial accounting, regulatory and statutory reporting services to a broad portfolio of business clients. ​
Responsibilities
Working with and managing a team of accountants to deliver the following services to our financial services and aircraft leasing clients:
 
  • Preparation of annual and interim management accounts for SPV clients holding investments in a variety of asset classes, and aircraft leasing clients.
  • Completion of quarterly FVC and SPV stat reporting returns to the Central Bank of Ireland.
  • Preparation of financial statements and statutory reports.
  • Preparation of audit files and support of the external audit process.
  • Preparation of VAT and Corporation Tax returns.
  • Manage the payables and receivables of the SPV client companies.
  • Assistance with iXBRL reporting.
  • Maintain contacts with investment managers, trustees, collateral administrators, banks and other involved parties in order to obtain the required information for reporting purposes, for meeting deadlines and for serving the client's needs.
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA or CIMA).
  • 2.2 honours degree or equivalent from a third level educational institution.
  • Good technical knowledge of Irish GAAP and IFRS.
  • 1+ years PQE.
  • Financial services background and experience with accounting for audit of financial instruments held by SPVs.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (manipulation of large datasets).
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate well with clients and other various service providers.
  • Display an ability to take responsibility and ownership of client matters from an early stage, with an ability to manage workflow and prioritise matters accordingly. 
  • Self-starter, detail oriented, highly organised, motivated and has strong ability to self-solve problems.
