Accounting Manager – Funds & Structured Finance

We are seeking an Accounting Manager – Funds & Structured Finance to join our Luxembourg team. This role combines team leadership, service delivery oversight, and hands‑on accounting responsibilities. The successful candidate will oversee daily operational, accounting, reporting and compliance matters for a diverse portfolio of Luxembourg-domiciled funds and SPVs engaged in capital markets and investment transactions. They will ensure high‑quality service delivery while actively contributing to key accounting outputs.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate can expect to be involved in and take responsibility for the following tasks:

Team Leadership & Service Delivery
  • Lead the accounting team responsible for delivering high‑quality services to fund and SPV clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and adherence to internal standards.
  • Oversee workload planning, review output, and ensure consistent delivery across all client engagements.
  • Provide coaching, technical support and development opportunities to junior team members.
  • Act as a senior point of escalation for clients, advisors, auditors, banks and authorities.
Financial & Fund Accounting 
  • Manage and review accounting and reporting obligations for SPVs and fund structures.
  • Perform hands‑on accounting tasks as needed, including management accounts, statutory accounts (Lux GAAP / IFRS), audit support and tax returns.
  • Oversee cash management, payments, treasury and regulatory submissions.
  • Ensure accurate NAV preparation and oversight, investor allocations, capital movements and related fund reporting.
Client Management & Compliance
  • Maintain strong, proactive relationships with clients, ensuring their ongoing operational and reporting needs are met.
  • Serve as manager on boards of client companies and participate in client, board, and shareholder meetings.
  • Ensure SPVs and fund structures remain compliant with Luxembourg regulatory, statutory and filing requirements.
  • Support business development efforts through client introductions, pitches and selected industry events.
  • Monitor regulatory and legislative developments relevant to SPVs, funds and the wider business.
Operational Excellence
  • Support the enhancement of internal processes, controls, procedures and reporting frameworks.
  • Promote a culture of quality, service excellence and continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements
  • 7+ years’ experience in accounting, fund administration or corporate services within an international environment. 
  • Professional accounting qualification or directly relevant fund/SPV accounting experience. 
  • Proven experience with fund structures including NAV processes, investor reporting and regulatory filings. 
  • Fluent in English; French or German is an advantage. 
  • Strong Luxembourg market knowledge and professional network. 
  • Excellent organisational, communication and relationship‑building skills. 
  • Proactive, commercially‑minded and capable of managing competing priorities. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team and balance quality with risk management. 
  • Advanced eFront experience is essential, including transaction booking, NAV workflow management, reconciliations, reporting and process optimisation.
