The Role
Responsibilities
The successful candidate can expect to be involved in and take responsibility for the following tasks:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of corporate entities;
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts as required by clients;
- Preparation of core fund accounting deliverables, including transaction bookings, NAV‑related calculations (valuations, accruals, income/expenses), capital call and distribution workings, investor allocations, fee calculations, reconciliations (bank, position, portfolio), and supporting schedules for investor and financial reporting;
- Preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g. GAAP, IFRS);
- Assist in the coordination of year-end audits;
- Payments and cash flow management;
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and corporate tax declarations.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports (e.g., CSSF, BCL, ECDF);
- Liaise with clients, investment managers, external auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel and other stakeholders;
- Participate in client, board, and shareholder meetings;
- Support the team in improving processes and implementing best practices;
- Support the business in responding to client needs on an ongoing basis; and
- Ensure that ethical standards and human rights principles are upheld across all areas of responsibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3–5+ years of relevant experience in fund or SPV accounting.
- Proficiency in E-front is desired but not essential.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA)
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities;
- Proactive and able to work independently as well as collaboratively;
- Clear communicator with a professional and client-focused approach; and
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
