Financial Accountant- SPV & Fund Accounting

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our London office for a skilled Financial Accountant with experience in Financial Services, particularly in managing Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) engaged in securitisation, other capital markets transactions and fund administration.

The successful candidate can expect to be involved in and take responsibility for the following tasks:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of corporate entities;
• Preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts as required by clients;
• Preparation of core fund accounting deliverables, including transaction bookings, NAV‑related calculations (valuations, accruals, income/expenses), capital call and distribution workings, investor allocations, fee calculations, reconciliations (bank, position, portfolio), and supporting schedules for investor and financial reporting;
• Preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g. GAAP, IFRS);
• Assist in the coordination of year-end audits;
• Payments and cash flow management;
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and corporate tax declarations.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports (e.g., CSSF, BCL, ECDF);
• Liaise with clients, investment managers, external auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel and other stakeholders;
• Participate in client, board, and shareholder meetings;
• Support the team in improving processes and implementing best practices; 
• Support the business in responding to client needs on an ongoing basis; and
• Ensure that ethical standards and human rights principles are upheld across all areas of responsibility.
